NASHVILLE, Tenn.–The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and other law enforcement agencies have arrested 24 people on drug-related charges.
The TBI reports the arrests are part of an operation dating back to early 2021 in which undercover officers conducted drug purchases in Grundy County. A grand jury heard the case on March 14 which resulted in the indictment of 24 persons.
Thanks to the operation, officers were able to get methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl, and prescription drugs off the street.
